This is a very special claret jug indeed.

A heavy and impressive piece, it is proudly offered to you for consideration in absolutely wonderful condition.

Made from the best quality silver plate (stamped A1) and thick intricately cut glass, this vessel makes quite an impact at the dining table.

You can see from the photos, the plating is surrounded with engraving and has two empty cartouches on either side - perfect for your personalised touch. The handle is of rare form. With its bulbous shape, it feels sturdy and secure in one's hand.

The glass too is a delight to look at. Cut with a mesmerising infinite circular design, it is a mix of lines, lattice and starbursts. Quite stunning.

As you can see from the photos, the condition overall is excellent with touches of wear that are only commensurate with age.

A wonderful antique that we hope you love.
