Edwardian Silver Plate Claret Jug with Bacchus Mount

Edwardian Silver Plate Claret Jug with Bacchus Mount

95.00

This is a wonderfully preserved example of an Edwardian claret jug.

Made in the early 20th century, its silver plate mount is heavily decorated with the well known and sought after 'Bacchus' motif. Atop this sits a majestic lion holding a heraldic shield.

The glass has been cut in a traditional design and is offered to you without scratches or chips. Likewise, the silver plate mount shows no signs of rubbing.

A large and imposing jug that will sit proudly at yours or your good friend's dining table.
