This unusual whisky noggin is proudly offered to you in fantastic condition.

It is made from decoratively engraved silver plate and intricately etched glass with a lattice pattern intertwined with starbursts.

The silver plate is in wonderful condition with minimal wear to the internal spout along with general wear that is only commensurate with the age of the piece.

The etched glass is without any scratches or chips and as well as it etched surround, it has a cut star base; both signs of superior craftsmanship.

For your information, the whisky noggin is assumed to have originated in Scotland. To be used a vessel for a before-bed drink, it was traditionally the size of a 'gill', the equivalent to a 1/4 pint.

A very special item indeed.
