This is a beautiful example of a Victorian silver plate biscuit box.

Presented to you in wonderful condition, the plating is still strong with just slight rubbing to the left of the lid from years of use, yet not noticeable.

The lid mechanism is smooth and closes well.

The highly decorated piece has been engraved from top to bottom with shields, garlands, wreathes and cartouches. The front cartouche remains blank for you to engrave yourself should you wish.

A delightful piece that is as useful today as it was 150 years ago.
