This dessert service is the epitome of the Art Deco Era.

Comprising a central tazza and six serving bowls, the neoclassical design creates quite an impact.

Each vessel is decorated with a repeating floral motif to the rim and four individual floral accents to the base. Each bowl, including their original glass liner, stands strong on four roman-style columns.

The condition is very good, however, there is wearing to the silver plate on all pieces due to age as well as the nature of use where hands have held the columned stem. In these places, the rubbing reveals the brass beneath. Also, as is shown in the final photo, three of the bowls have small chips to their glass liners. Not too noticeable when the liners are in situ in their bowls.

Despite these imperfections, this set is quintessentially Deco and we are sure will be admired by any collector.
