A wonderful and expertly crafted Victorian claret jug made by James Deakin and Sons in the 1880s.
Presented in perfect condition, the beautifully adorned jug includes an exquisite acid etched floral motif that naturally makes it way around the vessel. There are four lattice cut cartouches that create impact amongst the flowers.
The silver plate mount and handle maintains its shine and is without any buffs, scratches or dents.
