This is a beautiful and early example of mid century pottery from Scheurich Keramik.

The blue and white combination is reminiscent of the sea wash in the ocean. Believe me, the more you look the more you will see what I mean.

The makers mark, 200-22, indicates an early 1960s manufacture. Now, 60 years later, it is still in wonderful condition. There is the most minimal graze to the glaze as seen in photo 9 but it does not detract from the overall beauty of the piece. Otherwise, it is in magnificent condition.

For enthusiasts, this vase would be a welcome addition to the collection.
