This is a silver plate and elaborate glass claret jug.

A beautifully designed piece that includes a wonderful hand cut design of lattice and starbursts. The imposing face of the god of wine; Bacchus (also knows as Dionysus) as the silver plate spout adds to the beauty of the jug. The silver plate handle is intricate yet strong and sturdy.

The condition is fantastic with no damage to the glass and the silver plating on the mount still sparkles. You can see internally there is some black pilling to the lid and rim. This will not impede the jug's use at all.
