A very elaborate Victorian toast rack made by Walker and Hall.
It is heavily decorated with a skirt base pierced in a floral motif that holds aloft seven spherical bars in graded size. The rack sits of four balled feet and is topped with a handle that repeats the design of the bars.
A well used item, it has lost is silver plating and now exposes a soft sheen of the brass beneath.
A delight piece indeed.
