This is an impressive egg cup cruet set designed in the neoclassical style.
In silver plate, the five engraved egg cups sit on a raised platform atop a tripod of conical feet. The platform has been decorated with a protective rope-styled barrier to enclose the cups within. The handle continues the regal neoclassical theme with a natural garland, finished with a presentation bow at each end.
The base repeats the engraved design seen on the cups. Simple in design yet impactful in effect.
There is some black spotting and rubbing to some places to the base and some of the cups. Despite this, the overall appearance of this set really is splendid.
