This elegant egg cruet set was made by Davis and Sons at the height of the Victorian period.

In silver plate, the decorative details are seen across all elements of the item. The base that stands of four splayed feet carries four cups each with a space dedicated to holding an egg. The circular handle stands strong in the centre including a holder for each diner's spoon.

The cups themselves are elaborately pierced and chased to all sides and surfaces. Whilst the spoons too have heavily decorated handles.

The condition is absolutely wonderful for a cruet of this age with just minimal spotting to some areas of the base, as you can see in the photos.
