This rare lidded silver plate tankard is proudly offered to you in perfect condition.
An unusual design, the sparkling silver plate includes a hand hammered (planished) band at the top and bottom of the vessel.
You can see from the photos that the item, both inside and out, is in pristine condition. The lid sits tight to the rim and the base is straight and balanced.
The tankard does have makers marks to the base but they have rubbed over time and are unidentifiable.
A glorious example of an antique tankard that would definitely be a welcome addition to any collection.
