This is a beautiful example of an antique Victorian sardine box.

Offered to you with a matched sardine fork, the box is in absolutely fantastic condition. The scalloped edged glass liner has no chips or signs of wear and sits in a simple yet elegant base with four splayed legs and two winged handles.

The lid has a much sought sardine finial that sits proudly at the top of this piece. The fish is repeated as the handle to the matched trident fork.

The silver plating to the base, lid and fork is in excellent condition. Some very minor wear to the underside of the lid but cannot be seen.

A wonderful addition to to your antique collection.
