This seven bar silver plate toast rack, made in the 1930s, is presented to you in perfect condition. There is no wear to the plating whatsoever.

The rack sits balanced on four balled feet. The seven bars, offering space for six slices, are straight, aligned and show no signs of repair or restoration. Each of the bars, as well as the base, are finished with a highly decorative sphere. An aesthetic that is reflective of the master of design; Christopher Dresser.

The toast rack is topped with a very stylised handle in the shape of an inverted triangle.

Overall, a very handsome item that is as contemporary today as it was almost 100 years ago.
