A large and beautifully decorated magnum-sized Georgian wine coaster.
Proudly offered to you in fantastic condition, the bulbous shaped coaster has an extraordinary design. The elaborate piercing, coupled with the rose and leaf motif that decorates the rim certainly make this piece a special one.
Internally, the wood is in great condition and the base has no holes or flaws. Externally, there a small piece of silver plate missing from the rim of the base (see photo 8).
The item does have a maker's marked, but we are not able to identify the company.
A fantastic example of Georgian design.
