This bowl is a fantastic example of WMF craftsmanship.

Made at the turn of the 20th century, in the Art Nouveau style, the piece is offered to you in wonderful condition. Particularly so, as it includes its original glass bowl in amazing condition - beautifully moulded with no chips, nibbles or scratches. You can see the plating has rubbed in places to reveal the brass but the look remains impressive nonetheless. I would say it actually looks more rubbed in the photos than in reality.

The tripod legs have a classic Nouveau shape and hold up the bowl elegantly.

To the base, there is the makers mark - the WMF ostrich, denoting the date of manufacture to be 1903-1909.
