Impressive Art Nouveau Centrepiece / Fruit Bowl
An exceptional example of Art Nouveau design.
This centrepiece sits on a single central hexagonal column and is held aloft with two strong yet sinuous arms.
The stand is decorated with an elaborate motif of fruits, including pomegranates and pears, among others. The two circular handles complete the stand to make a very strong design impact. The silver plate is in fantastic condition with very minimal and negligible wear that is almost impossible to spot with the naked eye.
The removable glass bowl with its fanned edges is the original and is in perfect condition.
A very special piece indeed.
