James Dixon Silver Plate Carousel Cruet/Condiment Set

James Dixon Silver Plate Carousel Cruet/Condiment Set

Sale Price:€375.00 Original Price:€425.00

An exquisite six piece carousel condiment set by James Dixon and Sons.

Made in the mid-Victorian era, it is presented in magnificent condition.

Comprising three oil bottles, two pepper pots and a mustard pot. There is no damage or restoration to the glass or silver plate to any of the vessels.

The stand is elaborately designed to all areas. The base and the handle show true craftsmanship in their intricate detail, whilst the cups in which the vessels sit have been pierced with accuracy. There is some very minor wear to the plating on the internal cups and to the pot mounts, but only commensurate with age and not a distraction to the overall beauty of the piece.

The carousel mechanism is in perfect working order and moves smoothly without issue.

A special set made by a master craftsman.
