This is an immaculate silver plate bottle holder made by Walker and Hall at the end of the 19th century.
The piece is without any damage or restoration with silver plate that is as bright today as it was 130 years ago.
The holder is intricately pierced in a harlequin style motif and topped with a pinched edge. Internally, the wood remains in good condition with no cracks or stains.
