This is an unusual and special claret jug or liquor carafe made by Hukin and Heath towards the end of the 19th century.
Presented to you in perfect condition. The glass, which has been softly ribbed as it was made, remains absolutely crystal clear. You can be confident that the glass handle, despite it delicate look, maintains its strength. The silver plate hinged lid is smooth and shines as brightly today as it did 130 years ago.
A delightful example of a Victorian decanter.
