Victorian Aesthetic Style Egg Cruet Set for Four

Victorian Aesthetic Style Egg Cruet Set for Four

€135.00

This is a exceptionally good example of the Victorian Aesthetic Movement.

Reminiscent of the designs made famous by Christopher Dresser, this impressive egg cruet set was made by John Gilbert in the 1890s. It is proudly offered to you in fantastic condition.

The set comprises four tulip style cups, four spoons and also includes a cauldron style salt cellar that hangs elegantly in the centre of the intricately designed branch-effect stand.

The silver plating remains in wonderful condition with slight wear to the base; as to be expected with a piece of this age.

A really special set that will be a great addition to any collection.
