This is an ornate and attractive egg cruet set for six people.

Offered to you in very good condition, the set is elaborately engraved, both to the stand as well as each of the cups. The stand has a motif of a regal-like insignia of three arrows alongside wreaths of laurel leaves. Each cup has a repeating floral design. The set comes with six matched spoons.

The egg cups have been designed so they fit perfectly together on the stand. To do this, three cups stand at 7 cm while the remaining three stand at 6.5 cm.

Over the past 130 years, the silver plating has rubbed somewhat to reveal a slight brass colour. The rich engraving that is enjoyed across all surfaces of this set makes this less noticeable.
