This piece is a wonderful example of WMF craftsmanship.

Made at the turn of the 20th century, this brass champagne cooler or jardiniere if you prefer, is in fantastic condition. The hand hammered (planished) effect is quintessentially WMF and reminiscent of the Art Nouveau era in which it was made.

As you would expect from a brass item of this age, there are a few dings. These are mainly to the base along the bulbous design. They are not a distraction from the beauty of the piece as you can see in the photos - even less of a distraction in real life.
